The contest is 30 minutes long for grades 1 and 2, and 45 minutes long for grades 3 and 4.

How long is the contest?


Who can participate?

The Spirit of Math International Contest is open to students in Grades 1 to 4 whether or not they are registered at Spirit of Math. If your child is registered at Spirit of Math, the contest will take place during week 24, and the fee is included in your registration fee. If your child is not registered at Spirit of Math, please click here to register your child for the contest.


When can I register my child?

Registrations are open starting October 15, 2018. The registrations deadline is January 31, 2019. Please bear in mind that Spirit of Math International Contest will not accept any registrations after this date.


How can my child prepare for the contest?

Practice will allow your child to compete to the best of their ability. Please use our online resources to help your child be fully prepared for the Spirit of Math International Contest. These resources can be found here.
